Blueprint of My World, 2019
The white outlines in this art are a reference to the floor plan of the glass pavilion, Toledo Museum of Art in Toledo, Ohio. This Glass pavilion was designed by one of my favorite architects, Kazuyo Sejima whose design aesthetic is clean and modern. This piece represents me abstractly, the moon cactus is a self-portrait, and the blueprint represents my path to becoming an artist through studying architecture and now defining myself in the art world.
