Camping, 2021
Over the course of establishing myself in California, the most common “American” experiences were introduced to me, and most were brand new. Sometimes, multiple experiences were tied to one central example, like camping in the woods. Going camping exposed me to warnings about bears and not feeding them, and building a campfire to try my very first S’mores, which before I had only seen in movies.
